“Treacherous”

Your face never leaves my mind

name as soothing as a cozy fire

has it ever been a hard life for you?

echoed, you name through the crowd

through the stands in the open blue

my thoughts are dancing through my head

mind wander as you come through

and I feel dead (rhyme)

I feel all the blood rush to my feet

just hear me call for you

think about me when you lie in bed

you should remember my brown bouncy hair

should you forget?

think about the long walks at night

you wrap your hand with mine

should I remember what you did

know what you did

that you will never forget

nothing will ever leave my mind

safe and sound I am now

is he worth it?

worth everything I could give

the  love was real

drive away as I walk into the darkness

and I will follow you follow you home

follow you, follow you home
