“Watching a Movie”

Put the movie in and sit your ass down. We planned to watch the whole thing. I had seen the movie a thousand times over. I held my tongue I wanted things… to be exciting and beautiful for you Like they were in my head. I saw it all before it happened. I saw us in a movie I saw it all and thought it was us. The scene where the boy gets courage to talk to the girl. The scene where they have their first kiss. The part where opposing forces try to break it apart And they make it through…. This was the part we never got to watch... Then you took the remote. I let you take it. And press the STOP – button. But my TV doesn't keep the Spot, Unless it’s at pause--Maybe I’ll watch the movie with someone else. Maybe someday we will finish the movie. But right now I’m starting to forget the ending. I’m starting to doubt the movie’s plot. I want to write a movie I want to make a movie To control the ending Because when things depend on others, things don’t end the way you want them to I did write a movie In my head We played the lead roles And sometimes things didn't go exactly like I pictured. But those were things I could laugh at. They were simple fixes. Something I could go back to in the script and edit out. But the ending didn't end right…………………………………………………………………………………..
