“When What’s Important Is”
When I was a baby,
the most important person to me was my mother.
I cried when she left the room,
She was basically my only source of food.
and she loved me.
When I was a child,
the most important person to me was probably myself.
I cried when I did not get the toy I wanted so badly at the store
I basically wanted all the things my mom could not afford,
and yet she still loved me.
When was a teenager,
The most important person to me was my boyfriend,
I cried when he broke up with me because he cheated on me.
I basically soaked my moms pants from crying so much on her legs
and she still loved me.
When I became a senior,
The most important person to me was my mother.
I cried so much every day after my dad blamed my family for his unhappiness and left us.
I basically fell into a pit of depression.
But my mom was there for me through everything,
even though she was going through hard times herself.
She will always love me.
