“Who Am I Canto 6”

In the back of my mind my soul longs for the answer who is God? Longing to me with great persistence, how do I answer my inner dwellings? I know no more than the last. I guess He must be the artist that fashioned and sculpted this beautiful spectacle A world with many parts and beings just as intricate and complex as the next A dwelling place just to show the power and glory of the artist’s hand, Continually shaping, fashioning, and hoping for acceptance by his creation Or I guess He is a savior unafraid of death through his son to save a dying creation Giving chance after chance for his loved creation to cling to him and him only Death and destruction continue as a reminder of power and importance, That artistically constructed in hopes of acceptance and love Not understanding the ways of the artist but seeing his great passion and power to save Gives hope of knowing God and the artist within Or I guess God is love that shines bright through darkness Artistic charm and love for ones creation shown through it all Passion, kindness, determination, and protective shown love entered in this great sculpture As the darkness tries to demolish and snuff out the light Love breaks through the artist to insure life of his coveted creation Or I guess He is jealousy that can not be tamed Not willing to stand aside and allow someone to steal His credit for His creation Feelings of jealousy feel his heart as his artwork tries to turn and ignore The work, love, and passion put moves in the sculptors hands And now it seems Hs is in fact a sculpting artist Proud and invested in his work Tender and strong in his craft chiseling touch that forms the masterpiece Humble and loving hoping for total acceptance Artistically designing a larger picture than his creations can imagine The artwork may not understand why he breaks and forms, But in the eye of the artist there is purpose that can’t always be seen Committed to this great creation God stays true to his intent To love, care, craft, and work hard not to lose the dedication of the heart of the art
