…
stop punishing yourself for all the things you did yesterday, or a month ago, or over the years that have long passed.
you cannot unstitch these threads and you cannot undo the paths they ran.
but you can look to new horizons and accept a new sun.
you can be kinder to a past you cannot outrun and more patient with a future that allows you to carry on.
the right people always come right when something isn’t going okay and sometimes they heal you and other times it’s like you can’t give them all of the attention they deserve so you have to let them go.
it’s so sad.
love isn’t choosing someone who doesn’t choose you.
there are very difficult things in life that make it dark and hurtful but love should not be one of those things.
love is holding hands through the less shiny moments.
love is a safe space.
love is not a traumatic lesson.
not everyone has love in them to spread like others do but you learn that genuine love is like a breathe of fresh air.
