Road to Realization

October 27, 2016

I once was a dunce young and wreckless laughing with friends from a small town in Texas.

Oblivious to the world around me all I cared for were my friends and the clouds that surround me.

It was not for a purpose and though I felt worthless I had a circle that made me feel life was worth it.

Then one day the moment was done I was caught and thrown in the sun.

Three days away and only few had known, I lay in a cell awaiting home.

Family enraged at my poor decisions hurt and confused at my good intentions.

I drown in my self loathing arm red and overflowing waiting again for the winds of change to start blowing.

Then it was on to another scene  joining another team realizing how to let go and just breathe for I know this life I leave is to return but only as a memory.
