About the Author Hi, I’m Alan Winters. I was born and raised in Montevideo, Minnesota, and now live in Benson. I’m a retired Army veteran and a small engine mechanic by trade. I used to run my own repair shop, and these days I still enjoy refurbishing outdoor power equipment and selling it from my home shop as a hobby. When I’m not working with engines, I love spending time outdoors — fishing, camping, swimming, and enjoying time with family. I also have a passion for cooking and baking. Writing has always been a big part of my life. I’m the author of two poetry collections, Tempest of My Soul, Volumes 1 & 2, and a novella titled Dana. All of my books are available on Amazon in both eBook and paperback.
