I Remember

October 30, 2014

I remember the scent of his skin and the car in cool of Fall

And shivering under his Tunnel snakes jacket while i watched the trees pass by my window

I remember the squeckig of the CV joints of the Volvo moving as he turned down my drive way

I remember leaning over the arm rest and laying my head on is shoulder, looking up into his eyes

And the warmth of his body coursing through me,making me warm an happy

I remember sitting in the passenger seat watching him walk around the car to open my door like a gentlemen

And taking my hand, pulling me gently out of the car an out of the way of the door

And I remember him cup my chin with his strong firm hand, looking into  my eyes sweetly

I remember the look in his eyes, his soft steady breathing, and rapid heartbeat as he pulled me close

I remember his warm lips press against mine as it started to rain lightly on that cool Fall day in October.
