SIRENS

December 9, 2019

Lights flashing, Sirens blaring, the ambulance is at full speed.

We are first to repond, there to determine the need.

A mothers tears, a fathers sob.

Saving a life. Its more than a job.

It is where you start creating a special bond.

Giving them hope. A shoulder to cry on.

Runny noses, broken bones, a scraped knee,

or an illness you can't see.

Replacing a tear with a smile.

That is what inspires me.
