Dragon

December 5, 2017
The soft green field with white lines marking the layout.
The sunlight peeking through the clouds.
The gentle breeze ran its  fingers through the grass’s luscious hair.
The goal patiently waited for the company of their tiny companion.
Intruders had encroach on our territory for the time has come.

The game began as we battled over the soccer ball.
Back and forth the ball went between the two teams.
Time was running out so we huddled to come up a plan to let each other know when we are open.
With this we called out to each other throughout the game to the very end.
One simple word, one word dragon.
