The Battle

September 12, 2015
With every choice I make
With every step I take
Every yes or no
Every stop and every go
A battle takes place
Not one with swords and knives
But between the God of Truth and the King of Lies
Yes a battle is fought for me
When you decide to stand up
When you choose to back down
When you act in love
When you smile or frown
A war is waged
Its a battle for your heart played out with loving rage
Each time you choose what's right
Each time you choose to sin
Each time you choose the light
The battle for your heart begins
