The Start

June 16, 2016

Start

Fall was a huge part

Thanksgiving, family

Talents and poetry

On my bed one day

Inventorying my talents and abilities

The pencil went to paper as I prepared to draw

Then to my amazement and awe

I started to write

About myself, my family, and the word of Jesus Christ

At first, I felt no need for the script to be shared or priced

Once my teacher saw it, the only action that sufficed

Was to show my parents

Who being parents nurturing and caring

Framed it twice for the whole house to see

I was filled with glee

To see it proclaimed that me and my house will serve the Lord

I continue to write

And it is a constant fight to promote the light
