farewell

May 9, 2013
a ghost, her voice caught in the breeze, whispers in my ear sweet emptiness, the breath of it kissing my skin in light pecks made of nothingness. in the sun i feel her warmth once more coating and brushing my body with what was. i live off the memory, the memories of serene certainty that had once filled my heart. the purity in her soul, the beauty in that unveiled face. the face of a doll so porcelain and untainted. the wind took her away one day and left me with nothing but the chill.
