If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

12 poems·Since April 2013

Just a wayward soul in search of enlightenment through written word. I write so that the world knows I exist. Gratitude to all who share a passion for expressing their life through written and spoken words.

Before I met you I didn't know what unconditional love felt like. You came into my world and and awoke the sleeping soul within. You encouraged and nurtured my mind and body to release the woman inside the little girl. You have given me laughter in my heart, precious love for a good friend and a lust for the joy of life. You have been my teacher, my lover and always my biggest fan. I am blessed to have such a kind, caring, compassionate man such as you in my life. Thank you for allowing me to grow with out constraints; for shouldering my burdens with I can not. It is said that where there is one, there is weakness but together we can conquer the world.
