If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

Hey! I'm high school junior aspiring to be a cop. I love writing and am currently working on two separate novels and a short story mini-series. My favorite genre to write is historical fiction because I enjoy doing the research necessary to create accurate accounts. I have also written many poems over the years and have saved a few. XD Even though I fall, staying defeated is not a part of who I am. I had to learn how to push past injuries and setbacks and how to push myself closer to my goals. I learned how to make myself stronger: physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I am someone who can make a difference. I can accomplish what I put my mind to. When I set my heart to something, I know that I can follow it though. None of this is done in my own strength, else I would fail. But with me is the power of God. "I am only one, but I am one.
