Silence

December 21, 2014

Silence

Please, I need but a moment of silence

To quiet calling sirens

Please, I need but a moment of tranquility

So that I may have some serenity

Silence

All I ask is that you pacify your beckoning

As my patience is lessening

All I ask is that you know I do not request such out of malice

And do not think my reticence to be callous

Silence

It is needed by any individual bearing burdensome thoughts

As I am, my mind clouded as if filled with clots

It is needed when thoughts begin to flood one's mind

When silence and tranquility become a necessity they must find

Silence

Please, grant me but a moment of silence

To quiet calling sirens

Please, grant me but a moment of tranquility

So that I may have serenity

Silence
