If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

3 poems·Since October 2012

Glass

October 19, 2012
Your symptoms love to come and go These aches and pains are bending you crooked Shattered like glass, you are beautiful while broken We can repair the damage done, and build a new life from the ground up Whether its lightning strikes or just a fools stroke of luck I'll take to you to this place called wonderland We'll alight this forest and see what dies Maybe someday I'll be fortunate and rich enough To watch you shut those forlorn crystal eyes Lead the way to paradise
