Fool in Simplicity

October 20, 2014

It seemed so simple. “May I kiss you?” His eyes implored, searching mine with such intensity. I looked up, and thought of it all in its innocent simplicity...a meek peck on the cheek, maybe even a little butterfly on the lips. I hardly knew his name for God’s sake; a brief introduction flippantly thrust between two instances of brief encounter. But I breathed a yes, my inexperienced imagination conjuring something gentle, sweet. Oh forever damn the naïveté. “Close your eyes” he says. So I do. The next thing I know a cold and wet sensation forces its way down my throat. Hands readily obey their exploratory purposes, pinned against me to prevent escape. Soon, distaste turns to fear as his hands and body go further and further downstairs. Vulgar moans escape his unhinged jaws. My hands find his, shakily pushing him away. “Please” I beg. But to no avail, he doesn’t stop-he won’t. His lips accusingly rise from my collarbone. “A guy has needs” His eyes hold mine in a way his hands never could. They had such…an animal hunger, one not easily satisfied. Fear turns to sheer primal panic. The elevator is shut down, what can I do? My fingers desperately grope for the switch with a prayer. He shoves his hands further and further further...my body cries to God for him to.just.stop.
