The Feeling

April 3, 2016

Having a smile on you face

Can tell it's because of a single person

They make your heart race at a fast pace

That you can't control, making you uncertain

If you're hearing your heart go "thump-thump"

Or if it's rattling within your ribcage

That can cause you to get a lump

And leave a scar until you've reached your age

They're like the light

That makes you feel alive

And make you face cheerful and bright

Making your feelings thrive

Filled with happiness

That ersases your lonliness
