darkness

July 4, 2015

I sit there and stare

Into nothing

I feel it slowly creeping closer

Darkness

I feel it slowly crawling up my feet

It enters through my open mouth

I try to scream as the icy pain strikes my heart

Nothing comes out

It is choking me

Making breathing seem impossible

I fall to my knees under the pain

Finally it is done

I have accepted my fate

I am forever

Darkness

I stare into what was darkness

Now surrounding me

Are my worst fears

I try to scream but nothing escapes

I am forever cursed to nothing

I have accepted this fate and must now pay the price

Daily reminders of torture and pain

Suffering

I try to break free but cannot

I have signed the contract and must now pay my dues

I am forever

Darkness
