eternal silence

July 11, 2015

I try to scream

Nothing

Silence

I try to speak

Yet again nothing

Silence

I wonder what has happened

I am mute to the world

Has someone clipped my vocal cords so as to forever silence

What was already a silent person

I sit and contemplate

How to make noise

I try to stomp around

Silence

It is as if someone has locked me

In a silence bubble of some sort

What to do

How do I retrieve that which I didn't use before

Oh how I long for sound again

I sit down and cry

Yet again no noise

Well that is one plus

Nobody, not even myself, can hear me crying

For now I guess I will curl up and sleep

And try to get used to

The eternal silence
