If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

6 poems·Since June 2013

I have been writing poetry since I was around ten and love it. It helps me to vent and say things on paper that I cannot say out loud. Over the years, I have developed my writing even more and have been published twice in books. I am currently working on my own poetry book which will definitly include poems, and narratives (personal) that I have written in my senior Enlgish class.

Half The Time

June 5, 2013
Half the time I wondered if you played me. Half the time I wondered if you even cared. Half the time I wondered where you were. Those times you weren't there. Half the times you weren't there, you were with someone else. I bet that half the time, is something I regret. Half the time I thought you were fine. Half the time you said you would love me forever. But that half the time you lied. Telling me this. Telling me that. When in reality. Things were all flat.
