If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

6 poems·Since June 2013

I have been writing poetry since I was around ten and love it. It helps me to vent and say things on paper that I cannot say out loud. Over the years, I have developed my writing even more and have been published twice in books. I am currently working on my own poetry book which will definitly include poems, and narratives (personal) that I have written in my senior Enlgish class.

Its Obvious

June 5, 2013
I can't keep hanging on. To something I'm losing. To a love that is obviously being lost. A love that is obviously dying. I can't keep hanging on. When its obvious you let go. I'm not gonna keep hanging on. When its obvious you let me go. When its obvious you dropped me. From the tall place which you called your heart. Your heart which I thought was opened up to me. But who is me? Me is the person who loves you. Me is the one who supported you through everything. But its obvious you just left me. Left me with a broken heart. Its obvious the broken heart. Is still in healing. Its obvious. I don't think I'll be over you. But its obvious. You are. So its obvious. I have to. Be over you. That's obvious.
