Empty

April 10, 2016

The doors are opening

Releasing a whole new me

The doors are opening

Revealing a new place

That I promise I won't erase

The old ones are closing

Showing me that there is no going back

Letting me know

That I have to fix this

From where I stand

My world is changing

Because I took another wrong

Turn on my path

I know I sould have told you

When I had my chance

Now the world is empty

And I wish you knew the truth

Like I don't have any soul within me

Just a black hole

Where my heart used to be

Now I'm left here

Alone and angry

I need to get back on the right tack

And fix this now

From where I am

The doors are opening

And the fresh air is blowing in

The sun is shining down on me

And my eyes are opening

Its my time to show what I'm made of

Release me

From this empty cage

So I can finally claim

What is rightfully

Mine
