Paper Windows

July 3, 2014

I am here behind the paper

Dreams

Hopes

Rhythm

Fears

Beliefs

“Eyes are the windows to the soul,” they say

But mine are hidden in distance and time

You cannot see the windows to my heart.

You are there beyond the paper

Dreams

Hopes

Rhythm

Fears

Beliefs

Your windows look outside as well as in

Panes of thought watching out for a story

My story floats by and you find my heart.

Friendship exceeds words on paper:

Dreams

Hopes

Rhythm

Fears

Beliefs

But you read my paper and I read yours

And story briefly transcends our windows

Writing a bond between distance and time.
