More the Less

March 12, 2016

I need a little more,

a little more in my eyes.

The rush of tears pounding at the wall of my eyes,

not quite powerful enough,

enough to make the world burn.

I need a little more,

a little more in my mouth.

The flow of cries spilling against the rows of my teeth,

not quite forceful enough,

enough to silence the hurting world.

I need a little more,

a little more in my legs.

The storm of blood churning along the paper of my skin,

not quite insistent enough,

enough to carry me away from the world.

I need a little more,

a little more from,

my head to toe,

toe to mind,

mind to world.

I need a little more,

how can I express otherwise?

Enough isn't enough for the little more to make,

her, him, them, us, you, me,

Alive.

But there is not the little more that I need,

so I get a little less,

enough to end the,

suffocating,

need.
