Heavy

March 26, 2016

I feel so burdened by the heaviness in heart,

My chest constricting and prohibiting me from breathing,

From thinking.

The stress around crashes against my mind’s walls of fortitude in waves,

My head pounds and aching to stop me from exploding,

From self-destructing.

Pressure of the social norms and my familial duties,

My body weary from the forcing of movement and in the verge of collapsing,

From giving in.
