3 a.m.

April 24, 2018

I constantly lie awake

Never knowing what's wrong with me

I wake up, always at 3 a.m.,

Crying because the noises in my head like to stay

No, I'm not crazy

I just don't like reality

A hate-fueled world filled with sin and murderous fueled people

Why is that?

Why is it that we are so advanced, but actually aren't at the same time?

Why is it that we still think of depression as a taboo thing?

My mom tells me it's not real and if I actually went outside

Little does she know I stay indoors because the outside world makes me oh so much more

Depressed.

I love my life, but I hate how I've lived it

I want to escape it, but I never know how

Living in a small town it's not that easy to run away

I can't outrun my fears.

I tried to drown them, but they learned to swim

Why is it that humans are like this?

Why are we so fraile and weak?

Why do we act so tough and fake when in reality...we're actually dying.
