Zounds

January 12, 2014

High pitch, low pitch

It don't matter what/

Which way you go.

Up, down, turn around

Just don't sit down

Best part's coming now.

Shimmy shimmy shake

It charms the snake,

Makes the earth quake.

Is it in the water?

Nah, it's in the air.

SOUNDWAVES

Supersonic, ultratonic

Vibes your mind craves.

When you pick them up,

The beat drops--

Can't stop, won't stop, don't stop

Till you drop/

Fall down

Then you get up again--

Chumba wumba

Footloose

No excuse--

Cause in your ear,

there's a drum--

Pun? Yes.

Fun? Yes.

Now we got a hot mess.

Cue the air guitar.

Running in place,

but you're going far,

Being who you are.

Like ants in your pants,

You wanna dance.

X that.

You gotta dance.

Don't be messing,

Don't suppress

That fine sensation.

There's a d-a-n-c-e

In eduMacation.

Emancipation.

Proclamation.

This be a dancing nation.
