Her

January 5, 2017

It's been a minute but it still hurts just as bad

Maybe i can't let you go because you're the best I ever had

Maybe I should be happy that you're over me and glad

But i put on a front and act like I'm not even sad

Maybe I'm just trippin and I should leave you in dust

How can I do that after i gave you all my trust

What I had for you was real it wasn't just the lust

It's whatever because now my heart's hard like the earth's crust

Looking back I had wished I had changed the smaller things

Now regrets on my brain and  get excited when my phone rings

But I pick up and it ain't even you

So I just act like I'm busy and I got things to do

People come around and say Cam it gets better

Oh for real are you me and have you even met her?

It's not a sad life, it's just sad day

Go lose your best friend and we'll see what you gotta say.
