Stay

August 4, 2014

Maybe one day I will find someone

who doesn't see right through me

Change the path he's walking

Come close and get me talking

Maybe he'll like what he hears

understand all my fears

and maybe he will stay

Maybe one day I will find someone

who finds me interesting

He'll wish we weren't so far apart

He'll want me there when the world is dark

call me up at 4am

ask me when we'll meet again

and maybe he will stay

Maybe one day I will find someone

who will want to hold my hand

Hold me watching the scary movie

Kiss me when he's feeling gloomy

Watch the stars

Count headlights on cars

Camping in the woods together

Dancing in the rainy weather

Swimming with the moon above

Freckly kisses, laughter, love

and maybe he will stay
