Chesne Wisdom

If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

23 poems·Since December 2016

I'm a seventeen-year-old senior. I love to read and write poetry. I write a lot when I'm frustrated and I just want people to understand and/or accept me. I'm rather different to people because I have Asperger's Syndrome. I like to stand out and I'm proud of who I've fought to become. I hope to one day be teacher, but I don't know what subject I'll teach.

Need to do Better

December 1, 2016

Nice job, kid.
You did it again.
You pissed people off
And you let the madness in.

When you know it only hurts you,
You let the anger rule.
When you know the effects stay with you,
You acted like a fool.

Amazing plan, kid.
You could have let it go.
Instead you lost control of yourself
And let the whole world know.

I know you can do better, kid.
You must not let them in.
Fight off the voices inside your head
And regain your peace within.
