The Average

October 3, 2013

Sometimes we forget that in this varied world

Among the mix of backgrounds

Ethnicities

Languages

Or whatever makes you stand out

There are people like me

Filling in the "White" box

Missing out on affirmative action

Contributing nothing to the variety.

I'm sorry.

I know I come from an average home

Nothing special to this.

So why am I so left out

In a world

So versitile and blended?
