If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

6 poems·Since September 2014

Just a happy go lucky high school senior. Confused with what I want to major in and pretty much things in general. Wanting to find relief through writing.

Blind

September 3, 2014

When traveling to a beautiful foreign place

People say they want to never leave and are often unable to describe the

Awe

Love

Emotion

They felt while being there

I realize that this feeling is in some ways like falling in love

You are entranced with the

Beauty

Perfection

Magesty

Of the person

Everything they do seems

Adorable

Flawless

Wonderful

In the beginning you think they are the one for you

Unbelieveable

Dumfounded

Speechless

With happiness

Until things begin to take true form

Things change

You easily forgive their mistakes

Blindly

Foolishly

Regretably

It contines happily for awhile but then

Shattering

Clashing

Fallout

Of a breakup

Once over it

You look back on your trip and say to yourself you're glad you were able to be on

Vacation

Escape

Leave

But are glad that you are back to your normal life

Which brings up the question

Does this cycle ever end?
