I am a young poet. Many of my poems will be sad. I only write when I'm feeling bad.

This Is Me

July 8, 2014

I am just a sad girl who wanders the world.
Someone who is easily forgotten almost like a ghost.
I am a figment of everyones imagination.
Because if I leave they never think of me again.
I am a girl who spent her freshman year sitting at the nerds table and even they have forgotten me.
Sometimes I fell like I am nothing.
I worry that I'm just a ghost.
Some spirit or person who has died and made up a pathetic life for themselves.
I feel hated by many because the color of my skin.
Classified under stupid because of it as well.
And somehow even though I try. I feel like I will never be enough.
To weird for the normal people and to normal for the weird.
Where do I belong?
I question that all the time.
Do I really have a place in this world?
I don't know what I am anymore.
I walk in the world with my head down to the ground.
I am broken. Just like the many people I met.
I hold so many secrets as I listen to others.
But who will listen to me?
The answer is no one because no one really cares for me enough to do that.
I am just a girl who cares for every enough to die in the place of another.
Yet, everyone ignores me.
I am absolutely nothing.
