Ending Note

October 17, 2013

My fingers dance across the keys

Gliding over the smoothness

Reveling in the piercing tunes

Interrupting the silence

Calming the noise

My eyes close in unseen pain

Behind the lids your face appears

And fades in a flash

My hands tense and lock

My movements jerky

Angry fingers strike the keys

Hammering the notes

Constricting them into dark tunes

It stops

My eyes open

I smile as the i hear the claps

I smile as i see the happy faces

I smile as the pain of you faded with that last note
