Thoughts on Fire

August 12, 2014

If you care for it it can grow,

If you aren’t careful it can lose control,

If you are cruel it will die,

Or it will lash out,

It can keep you warm and make you feel safe,

But if you aren’t careful someone will get burned,

It can light the way,

Or it can cloud your vision,

Spend too much time with it and it can poison you,

Spend too little and you will die from the cold.
