Seeing You
July 29, 2014
I want to see you, you say.
And so you see me
through the sage green stitches
of my grandmother's crocheted yarn,
And so you see me
Lying above the cherry-cola leather sofa.
And so you see me,
through my rib cage and my
clumped mascara
All the way through grey eyes
And through faded nicks
on my transparent wrist.
