REFLECTION

March 23, 2016

I'm not sure I like my reflection;
He looks at me funny.
There's something in his eyes
That boasts he knows me too well.
And I just don't trust him-
I think my secrets he might tell.

I like to stare as long as I can
Into his wide brown eyes
And test who'll blink first.
But it's always the same
We both blink together
And neither one comes off first

Sometimes I pull faces-
The worst contortions
Of epic proportions-
But he matches me every time.
Sometimes I think his faces
Are actually worse than mine!
