Light Like Snow

December 31, 2013

Overwhelming light like snow

Fluttering in spirals around me

Impossible to explain or even know

Yet it is all that I see

Beautiful flowers of promise seem to grow

So I rest in silence and take a knee

Numb to the noise, scrapping the show

Complete surrender may be the key

Surrender, but don’t go with the flow

Now, I suppress the urge to flee

It takes a leap of faith to go

I am capable, I am free
