What lies beneath the thundering waves?

What hides in the darkness of caves?

What were the dreams of slaves?

Out of all the knowledge on the the planet

How much does man know?

Will we ever completely understand it,

Even when it was learned millenas ago?

I want to be smart

Know and perfect all fine art

Understand this feeling in my heart

Have more than a good start

My mind to move faster than a dart

This is what I want

This and nothing more

Your compassion is what I implore

Secrets to explore

And not a single closed door

Within my mind forever more
