Fake Friends

September 23, 2016

You said we were friends

You said  were cool

you said we were squad

together we rule

well now you a liar

a snake in these streets

backstabbing and accusing

steady lying on me

well what happened?

tell me what changed?

we use to be close

but now there’s only pain

you picked me up when I was down

made me smile instead of frown

Now you just a jerk

you see me and grin

even smirk

I hate you but I need you

we use to be so cool

I want to repair our friendship

but I know this battle I will lose

I’m not ready to give up

even though u say things that aren’t true

so I let you stay around

because as a friend

I love for u
