On my mind

September 23, 2016

I’m sorry I’m not good enough

I’m sorry I can't face the truth

I guess I’m just hopeless

at least when it comes to you

You're always on my mind

Forever in my thoughts

I hate that we don't talk

But our memory isn't chalk

I know you hate to talk

I know you probably don’t care

I know you won't read this

And I guess it’s just my cross to bear

But I had to let you know

I’m sorry I wasted your time

And I really did care

But I guess life just isn’t fair

I will always remember you

Every moment we had

I’m sorry if I ever hurt you

Or ever made you sad

It was never my intention

I was just a dumb kid on mission

I never meant to fall in love

But with you I had

What we had was special

I hope you feel the same

I wish we could’ve been forever

For that I am to blame

You will always be my first

My first love, and my forever

I’m sorry I messed up

and I’m sorry we can’t be together

I’m sorry this poem so long

I’m sorry it wasted your time

I’m sorry I even wrote

and I’m sorry on this last part that it won’t rhyme

As I look back on our memory and think

It will never fade

As we grow further apart

I realize now that I should’ve stayed

You were always the one

I guess I was blind at the time

But u cant stop reading now

I’m done, I’m sorry I wasted your time
