Mindless Muncher

November 6, 2015

I Am the product of comforting hugs, gut wrenching laughter, and humbleness

I Am the product of societies harsh views on bodies, self image, and self worth

I Am a mindless muncher, proffesional purger, and a caloric chess master

The creation of another part of me, a distorted and contorted image of myself

That I struggle with every single day

But with that comes inner strength

A strength that has glittered within me for as long as I have been on American soil

I will take the good times and the bad times with gusto

Because I know every experience is like an ingrediant

To this incredible recipe, of who I Am today

And today I Am someone who throws out as many who hugs, who never leaves the house without laughter

Who tries- and sometimes fails- to be humble

I Am also someone who bleeds body positivity, who promotes self image and self worth

To the very core

But more importantly I am recovering

I Am a survivor
