When I realized

June 19, 2019

It started with my taste

Not just flavor but my preference

I went from Carly Rae to Amińe

I went from disgust to ingestion when veggies came on my playe

From wanting to be taller to i hope I don’t grow too tall

Also I realized when I started to really reflect on my reflection

I noticed how I liked face now then ever before

When I went from your too dark to whose that Choclate drop

Went from trying to straighten my hair without my mom know to wanting my twist out to come out right

But I also realized it when I start stressing over things that were never an issue

Going from just speaking the truth to wondering if this is offensive or how to say this

Going from just walking up and introducing myself to being anxious if I come off like some desperate creeper

But I have also realized I’m still growing and never will stop till death and even then I’ll grow into the earth to help those around me grown
