Broken Trust

March 16, 2015

I open up easily,
willingly,
to those who ask questions.
But there are stories left untold,
hidden,
because when you're open you learn your lesson.

In and out of my life like
you're passing through a revolving door,
but as you leave,
you take my stories with you,
then again, what are good friends for?

Good for nothing,
if that is what a "good friend" truly is,
maybe I'd rather be alone.
many aquaintances,
but no one person to tell everything to,
maybe this is one lesson some will learn when they're grown.

I've learned my lesson the hard way,
never open up easily,
willingly,
unless you're also willing,
to let someone else be the keeper of your memeories,
stories,
the tragedies that have made you who I are.
