To delve into emptiness A sorrow filled with fear A longing for a presence Touch, a smell, to hear Such a beautiful sound Such a beautiful tune To sit and sing, or act obscene To be a little green, or be far from lean One must be seen not by colors galore But by the magic they've made By the sights they have seen One must be given a chance to be free Of charge, of ridicule, of pain and of sorrow One must be seen for the chance that they borrow
