Perspective

February 25, 2019

Clouds covering the sun

Words said that are heard by no one

Infection spreading like the plague

Eyes that tell the whole story

Dark shadows

Tastes tainted

Breeze hot, built up to break

Closing walls

Excluding dreams

Hope snuffed

Burnt out

Exhaustion settles but doesn’t leave

Days ending mid-way
