Shadows Inside

April 22, 2013
Walking down an alley with no one else around The dark shadow of myself, Is the only one who understands How this is something I cannot shrug off. Not knowing, and not wanting to know Kills me more than dying would. Even if it was dismissed, Something new would just take its place. My shadow sticks by me Knowing exactly how I feel. And how I'm everything but fine, Despite what I say. This isn't something that can be fixed, It's not something I can build a Semi-steady bridge over And walk across without falling in. The depths of the alley Are much like the depths of my mind. There is always something else Written on every single wall. The meanings are clear, No symbolism bull shit. Nothing you say will help Because it won't be true later on. This is something real. And something that can kill.
