Without Abandon

March 19, 2019

Those who fight

Are ones who have showed

Their wares to the world

And expected to be criticized

Those who fight

Jump in head first

Without the thought to think

About Themselves

Those who fight

Do not think about

What they have;

It is not theirs

Those who fight

Know that the fears they keep

Mean nothing to those around them

So they fight

Those who fight

Stand bravely while

Still shaking from their anxieties

They stand up for others'

Those who fight

Know that it only

Takes a simple action

To destroy the world

Those who fight

Have seen things

In their dirtiest

And fight them Anyway

Those who fight

Are those who Love

Without abandon

Those who Love

Are ones who have showed

Their wares to the world

And expected to be criticized

Those who Love

Jump in head first

Without the thought to think

About Themselves

Those who Love

Do not think about

What they have;

It is not theirs

Those who Love

Know that the fears they keep

Mean nothing to those around them

So they Love

Those who Love

Stand bravely while

Still shaking from their anxieties

They stand up for others'

Those who Love

Know that it only

Takes a simple action

To destroy the world

Those who Love

Have seen things

In their dirtiest

And love them Anyway

What it means to fight

Means to love

Without Abandon
